The Witches — Those who fly through the night, arriving by broomstick, astride goats, or anointed with flying ointment. Classic witch attire, herbalist robes, or woodland sorceresses draped in shadows.
The Horned One — The great He-Goat who presides over the gathering. Goat masks, horns, hooves, Pan and Faunus figures, or the wild forest god in all his primal glory.
Familiars — The spirit companions of witches in animal form: black cats, toads, ravens, hares, serpents, bats, and owls.
The Wild Spirits — Satyrs, fauns, demons, and creatures of the night who join the revelry. Think cloven hooves, fur, and devilish grins.
The Spectral Procession — Spirits of the restless dead, phantom huntsmen, and ghostly figures from the Wild Hunt who ride alongside the witches.
Nocturnal Deities — Diana/Hecate (goddess of the moon and witchcraft), Lilith, or the Queen of Elphame who sometimes leads the witches' flight.
